So you need a website...

So you need a website. Maybe you have a small restaurant, dojo, dance studio, or any of the many other small businesses that drive our economy. Maybe you saw someone's personal website which contained links to all of their online 'selves' and you decided you wanted one as well. Whatever the reason, you've decided you need your own little corner on the World Wide Web.

The first thing you should know is that despite what many on the internet will tell you, there is no One Right Way to Build a Website ™ (although there are definitely a lot of wrong ways). Like many things, the choice is relative to you. The right way for you will be different based on your needs, your budget, your time constraint, and even your personal preferences.

So what is the point of writing this article? While there may not be One Right Way to Build a Website ™ you still need a website, and there a lot of decisions to make. My hope is that the information I share with you will help you make those decisions in a more informed manner, leading to a better experience for you (and those who someday visit your site).

There really isn't too much of a purpose to this post, my goal is for it to be a temporary blog while I get back to developing my own custom blog. In either case I couldn't stand leaving the page empty... so now its not.
